In this radio interview broadcast on Radio Ramadhan Glasgow’s Desert Island Gems programme on 05 June 2017, I share some of the meaningful gems that I would take with me if I was stranded on a desert island.
I share seven Quranic verses, poems, quotes and books that inspired me during my darkest moments of the 11 years that I spent in prison.
I share anecdotes from my time in prison and dreams I saw that came true.
Apologies if I speak a little fast in the interview. I think the editors speeded it up to fit it all in.

Jzk for sharing your personal thoughts, experiences and words of wisdom with us. Really appreciate all the work you do. You have experienced a lot and met many different people in your life but you seemed to have distilled and consolidated your thoughts and lessons learnt from those experience and encounters.
For ease of reference, it would be handy if you could perhaps list the books, quotes, ayaat of Quran, etc. some where on your blog please? I’d like to delve deeper into the references. Jzk
Btw I’ve ordered another couple of jars from your Latin Honey shop today;)
